The writer would like to show gratitude to God since the book is already accomplished. The book entitled “English for Nurse” is designed for nursing students. The book consists of twelve chapters that train students’ ability in English. All chapters are based on students’ need for nursing. Each chapter consists of four sections to explore students’ abilities, namely 1) Input starts with two activities, namely brainstorming 1 and 2 which stimulate students to be ready for the discussed chapter; 2) Content Focus presents the materials to be mastered. It covers the explanation of the content for each chapter; 3) Language Focus presents the explanation of language. It covers language functions and expressions that can be used in the communication for each chapter; and 4) Task presents the exercises students do to apply all their knowledge. It consists of five exercises that train students’ knowledge and skills.
